Emotive landscapes that speak to climate impact

It all begins with an idea. We can all make a difference.

Witness

A poignant narrative of environmental degradation the windswept juniper tree, standing solitary on a desolate hill, embodies resilience in the face of adversity, yet its stark silhouette against a fading world map hints at a deeper narrative of loss and destruction. Ink running down the image symbolizes the gradual erosion of nature's beauty and vitality, mirroring the gradual disappearance of our planet's diverse landscapes. Witness seeks to evoke reflection, urging viewers to contemplate the consequences of our actions on the natural world and to consider the legacy we are leaving for future generations

All that remains

This lone dead tree near Bluff knoll in the Stirling Ranges was inspired by the idea of loss. Having lost a significant limb this tree seems to have given up and withered away. Just as the loss of a spouse can impact the partner that remains.

Persephone's rise

Persephone's Rise embodies the timeless tale of Persephone's journey through the seasons and explores the symbolism of trees as ancient witnesses to time and life's cycles. Anchored by roots that delve deep into the earth, the tree symbolizes stability amidst change. The reaching branches extend upward, embracing transformation and the cyclical nature of existence. Just as Persephone's story weaves through the seasons, so too does the artwork speak to the interconnectedness of all life and the timeless rhythms that shape our world.
